This is an art trade for someone who swapped a book with me in trade for some artwork. She paints boots. I don’t mean she paints pictures of boots, she paints actual boots – and turns them into plant pots. They’re awesome. I haven’t found a blog for her so I can’t show you. But they’re very cool, take it from me.

So I grabbed my trusty Uni-ball eye waterproof black pen and some Whispers water-soluble brush markers in Marie Antoinette-esque colours and set to work. I’m pretty pleased with her. I really like the style it came out in and I think I’ll do some more.

Well, actually she sent me a book that was never printed in the UK and is very difficult to get here for less than about £65, so I think we’re even.
