Art Journaling: It’s all Good – Zine is LIVE!

Yes that’s right folks, the zine is out and ready for download!

I have to say I am so proud of this and what our team has accomplished in such a short space of time. Inside are articles and book reviews from myself, Less Herger of Comfortable Shoes Studio, Jonathan Manning of The Artistic Biker, Connie Hozvicka of Dirty Footprints Studio, Samantha Kira of Journal Girl and Eveline of Eveline Timeless plus an exclusive interview with Teesha Moore!

After seeing individual bit and pieces for several weeks now  we got the final proof yesterday and I was just blown away to see the full zine. 41 full colour pages of pure art journaling form a group of people so diverse that there will definitely be something for everyone no matter what you’re into.

I loved your article! It was so funny and true!

I used to have a real problem using art supplies. It stemmed from my childhood when I would get stickers (or marbles or anything else) and never use them because I didn’t want to waste them or for them to get ugly. I think I often got told that things were expensive or careful not to waste or spoil something. Oh well, at least I’ve leared from it and will do it differently with my kids!

Thanks so much Iris, I’m glad you’re enjoying the zine. We had so much fun putting it all together and I’m so pleased with the response it’s received so far.
I was a sticker-hoarder as a kid too. And notebooks. And pencils. And pens….. you get the idea! It can be really hard to overcome that habit but there’s only so much wasted or destroyed stuff you can go through. I hope your kids enjoy using their stuff instead of ‘keeping it for best’.
