Thanks so much Iris, I'm glad you're enjoying the zine. We had so much fun putting it all together and I'm so pleased with the response it's received so far.
I was a sticker-hoarder as a kid too. And notebooks. And pencils. And pens..... you get the idea! It can be really hard to overcome that habit but there's only so much wasted or destroyed stuff you can go through. I hope your kids enjoy using their stuff instead of 'keeping it for best'.

Thanks so much for your comment Soli, it's nice to know we're not alone in our eclectic little hobby isn't it? I love hearing about other people's styles and how they use their journals.
If you're not already over there, I can highly recommend less Herger's artjournaling ning site. Pure art journaling for just about any taste.

I loved your article! It was so funny and true!

I used to have a real problem using art supplies. It stemmed from my childhood when I would get stickers (or marbles or anything else) and never use them because I didn't want to waste them or for them to get ugly. I think I often got told that things were expensive or careful not to waste or spoil something. Oh well, at least I've leared from it and will do it differently with my kids!

Hi Rhomany, I too am a Journal Junky. I'm not as much of a visual arts woman as you. For me journaling is all about the writing. I call my style of journaling 'mixed bag'. Meaning I can write about anything I like, is any style I like all in my current journal. And my journal is generally with me where ever I am. I have at times kept 'project' journals. Like for example when I worked on my journal writing guide book, that had it's own note book. And when I planned my launch party, I used a special journal for that too. It's so nice to find other who love journals & journalling as much as me. Thanks for sharing your style. Love, Soli :)

I got mine (same model/size as your one) for my RSI which means I've been able to use my right hand for 'mousing' again after nearly 3 months using my left hand (and developing RSI in my left elbow too, but it's stopped now that I've switched again)! I've not used it for drawing or sketching at all as that wasn't the purpose I bought it for, but I'll be curious to give it a try. I have done some photo editing in Photoshop though (and I use PS often for work) and it's lovely because it's so quick and light (especially if you pair it with keyboard shortcuts with your left hand). And yeah, putting it through the company accounts is such a perk of having a company hehehe =p
